Job Description:

Summary of Accountabilities is as follows, but not limited to:

Boeing is seeking to hire a Supplier Quality Specialist, based in Sacheon, South Korea. 

 

This is a field representative position responsible primarily for supporting the Korea Aerospace Industries facility. The position will require a highly self-motivated individual, capable of being self-directing with minimal supervision.

 

Key responsibilities are as follows:

1.Represents The Boeing Company at suppliers to ensure that suppliers’ quality system, processes and products meet purchase contract requirements and applicable regulatory agency and government regulations.
2.Performs onsite program responsibilities in support of The Boeing Supplier Quality organization.
3.Plans, organizes, and conducts onsite audits, surveys, and inspections of Boeing procured material, parts and assemblies.
4.Monitors and reports on supplier quality, related activities to verify Quality System, product and contract, or purchase order compliance.
5.Ensures that suppliers document and maintain an approved Quality Management System to meet the appropriate company requirements.
6.Provides technical expertise to company employees, suppliers, customers, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with contractual, company, and regulatory requirements.
7.Responsible for maintaining quality, stability, and flow for multiple programs in a fast paced and challenging environment.
8.Requires the implementation of supplier management processes including assessment of supplier capability, capacity, and management of supplier performance in the technical areas of quality and schedule performance / capabilities.
9.Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned by management.

 

Competencies:

1.Detailed knowledge and experience in airplane programs manufacturing, machining, special processes, and assembly are essential.
2.Excellent verbal, written, and program management / quality communication skills are essential to communicate with all stakeholders including factory customers, supplier management, and all levels of supplier personnel.
3.Success will require the ability to establish good personal relationships and outstanding team building skills in a multi-cultural and diverse environment.
4.Excellent English language skills are essential & desirable.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and typically 1-2 years' related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in the engineering, quality, and/or manufacturing is required.
