ITB - Inside Sales Representative

 

Summary

This position works closely with Channel Partners, providing pre and post-support in relation to the successful selling and installation of APC solutions and assists to achieve targeted sales revenue and growth goals in Korea.

 

This person also provides administrative support in the day-to-day running of the Sales office and proactively increases sales of Partner business by having inbound calls and emails, making outbound telephone calls, generating sales leads, qualifying leads, managing the sales funnel and closure reports for the assigned accounts.

 

This position works with the following key internal parties:

ŸŸ Country Sales Teams

ŸŸ Pre-Sales Engineers

ŸŸ Finance Team

ŸŸ Order Management Team

ŸŸ Supply chain team

ŸŸ Sales Operation team

 

This position works with the following key external parties:

ŸŸ Distributors & Managed Partners mainly

ŸŸ All Partners those who work with Schneider Electric

 

Responsibilities

1. Sales Support (70%)

-   Generate quotes and proposals for OEM and APC Products, and Solutions

-   Sell OEM and APC products and services by taking inbound calls/emails and/or making outbound calls to Clients Internal/External Sales team

-   Develop and maintain clients’ relationships by continuously harnessing contacts, sponsorships and opportunities

-   Review and manage sales forecast from Client for Korea

-   Update ETA and shipment information to Client and internal Sales Team

-   Assess customer needs and providing 1st level advice and recommendations

-   Work with Country Sales team to identify new opportunities within the existing customer base (resellers and end-user) for APC Solutions

-   Farm existing accounts for new business on an on-going basis

-   Plan sales promotion and incentive programs for channel partners working closely with APC Product Line Manager

 

2.  Sales Administration (25%)

-   Arrange product and price information to sales team regularly

-   Work closely with the Country Sales Team to ensure that country sales team can function as effectively as soon as possible

-   Work with the SCM/OM Team in relation to issues of shipment and stock availability

-   Assist in the technical specification for appropriate solutions based on information gathered by Sales/Partners or pre-sales team

-   Assist with the compilation of sales, technical and informational presentations for partners

-   Assist in closing business by following through on sales opportunities and removing technical and administrative roadblocks

-   Assist in preparation for certificates, KCC and KETI etc. once new products launched

-   Generate statistics on the number of calls required to close a sale

 

Others (5%)

-   Assist in Marketing Events

-   Any other assigned duties

 

Qualifications
Requirements

Ÿ Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent

ŸŸ Minimum 2+ years of successful sales experience

ŸŸ Knowledge in a technical industry with a complex value chain strongly preferred

ŸŸ Good command of written and spoken English

ŸŸ Passionate, Self-motivated, Customer focused

ŸŸ Team player with good time management and interpersonal communication skills
