Finance&Controlling, Procurement Deputy Manager (Perm)
Tasks
1. Purchasing Strategy
- Establish purchasing strategy related with Marketing/PR Consulting service, Marketing Survey, market analysis that will achieve strategic objective.
- Identify opportunities to reduce purchasing cost by improving buying patterns and innovative idea.
- Evaluate, negotiate and manage the complex, important items (Intellectual property)
- Purchase goods and services between the various business units thereby achieving best overall values
2. Develop and maintenance partnership with suppliers
- Find the potential candidate who has high technology and capability in the market.
- Sharing and alignment of strategies with long term partner to develop from key suppliers to strategic suppliers.
- Build a relationship with strategic suppliers to maximize the value.
3. Compliance review
- Assure and monitor compliance of Procurement Activities with relevant guidelines and procedures.
- Assure compliance of selected new vendors.
Qualifications
1. Skills/Experience/Attributes
- Knowledge of supplier management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with business partners both internally & externally.
- Sound understanding of market conditions, dynamics and economic environment.
- Strong analytical skill on spends analysis and financial data reporting.
- Capable of problem solving and managing multiple projects and complex tasks.
- Experience in managing multiple commodity portfolio and/or procurement in both goods & services.
- Experience in initiating contract negotiation, and proper documentation.
- Excellent organizational and proven negotiation skills.
- Strategic and forward thinking with strong business acumen.
- Energetic and self-motivated.
2. Specific Knowledge
- Supplier relationship management.
- Good understanding of Contract Law and legislation.
- Knowledge of Daimler procurement tools and processes.
- Ability to use SAP (MM Module) and Report function
- Sound understanding of engineering processes for product approval, validation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (excel, word, power-point etc.)
3. Education/Training
- Negotiations and Contract Management training is advantageous.
- Local compliance & procurement systems training.
