Account Manager, Online Partnerships Group (OPG)

 

The Online Partnerships Group (OPG) uses our portfolio of product solutions, including AdSense and DoubleClick tools, to help online publishers grow their businesses. You'll provide innovative, industry-leading online advertising solutions for publishers and developers and proactively identify new opportunities. Some of the largest publishers on the web rely on our products and we're always trying to exceed their expectations and strengthen our long-term partner relationships. Our team helps grow Google's business with the largest online publishers and provides account management for users of AdSense, DoubleClick and more.

As an Account Manager, you will directly manage web partners/mobile application developers in Korea, helping them to continually enhance user experience and business growth through ads. You are someone with strong relationship-building skills, and enjoys working with a diverse group partner businesses. You also have effective time management and multitasking skills, and an ability to work independently.

The team has a dual mission to help digital content providers build business for their properties so that they can grow and provide high quality content to users, and to provide Google’s advertisers with high quality ad inventory on the web and in mobile apps. To accomplish this mission, the team leverages a suite of Google tools in direct engagement with partners, including AdSense, Ad Exchange, DoubleClick for Publishers, and AdMob.

Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The team partners with Publishers and App Developers of all sizes to promote their ad inventory, working with Google's broad range of partner solutions including AdSense, DoubleClick Platform Solutions and the Ad Exchange, across mobile, display, and video formats, helping our partners and their audiences get the most out of the web. In addition, the Partnerships team supports Google’s own product teams with essential partnerships to help power Google’s user experiences in search, maps, travel, shopping, payments and more.

 

Responsibilities

•Manage partner accounts, creating a joint business plan and developing a pipeline of ad business growth optimization opportunities together with each partner.
•Promote the adoption and optimal usage of Google products at web publishers and app developers.
•Work cross-functionally within the Online Partnerships Group (OPG), and within Google, to bring the “best-of” Google to partners.
•Collaborate with the global product development team to meet local customer expectations, and cooperate with data analysts in identifying growth opportunities and in solving business issues.


Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:•BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
•2 years of industry experience.
•Experience in digital marketing field.
•Ability to speak and write in English and Korean fluently and idiomatically.

Preferred qualifications:•Experience in partner/client relationship-building.
•Experience in Internet, advertising, e-commerce, publishing, games, and/or online services.
•Knowledge of HTML and JavaScript.
•Demonstrated ability to work with little or no guidance. Ability to independently identify and pursue the most strategic opportunities.
•Ability to structure, analyze, and solve complex business problems, as well as to deliver impact against defined business goals. Ability to cultivate relationships and negotiate with new partners/clients.
•Self-directed, motivated, and results-driven with effective multi-tasking skills.
