Description

BASF has been a committed partner to Korea since 1954, and is today one of Korea's top ten chemical companies. BASF Company Ltd. provides a broad portfolio in Korea from four business units – Chemicals, Specialties, Polyurethanes and Thermoplastics – and has six world-scale production sites in Yeosu, Ulsan, Gunsan and Ansan. BASF also has an application technology center in Daejeon, a coatings technical center in Ansan, a technical service center in Shiheung and the Asia Pacific headquarters of BASF’s Electronic Materials business is located in Seoul.

 


•Objectives:

In order to improve our engineering plastic sales, it is very crucial to provide customized solutions promptly against local giant competitors who are operating their own development laboratories in the local.

Even though we get strong supports from CAMPUS located in China for new product developments, but we are still asked to give faster response because the most E&E products’ cycle times are getting shorter and shorter.

 

•Main Tasks:

1. Provides the valuable ideas of new product development and application development in order to support appropriate product introduction, design concept and reasonable processing from OEM customers and project partners (Tier1) on the value chain in Electric & Electronics industry.

 

2. Responsible for the new application development with existing and new solutions by continuous monitoring market trend, evaluating business opportunity, and communicating with potential/existing customers.

 

3. Contribute to implement business excellence by providing technical information to the sales teams and managements.

 

•Education/Qualification:

1. Graduation from University majoring related in Chemistry or Mechanical Engineering.

2. Working Experience : above 5 years work in EP market related to E&E industry.

3. Fluent English speaking and writing.

4. Advanced computing skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
