Opportunities

◾Act as a QA contact person within the shifts and support Secondary functions where QA expertise is required with effective communication, coordination and direction.
◾Make the sampling of tobacco/cigarettes/packs from Secondary production according to sampling plans and perform the necessary physical/visual measurements in the QA Labs in accordance with QA procedures and methods.
◾Consolidate and analyze daily reports and inform relevant functions about quality trends in cooperation and coordination with production functions.
◾Analyze report and communicate the physical/visual audit findings, with respect to product specifications, within the shifts to production regularly. Develop and recommend improvement actions with Secondary functions.
◾Support, follow up and perform, quality relevant tests, audits and trials driven through departmental, regional or PMI initiatives effectively within the shifts. Prepare the necessary reports timely to relevant functions
◾Regularly check the on floor quality control and Primary process data and flag deviations from specifications / standards to QA and production functions.
◾Support DIM related trial and qualification and provide the necessary feedback to relevant functions.
◾Provide physical/visual data before/after non-routine activities like brand changes, maintenances, specification changes and equipment qualifications to Secondary production on need basis by overseeing the product integrity.
◾Perform and coordinate inter lab correlation activities between QA laboratory / production QA equipments and PMI Laboratory in order to ensure the deviations between the measurements’ are kept within tolerances. Perform and coordinate timely, the maintenance and calibration of the QA equipments.
◾Support, follow up and perform, quality relevant tests, audits and trials driven through departmental, regional or PMI initiatives effectively within the shifts. Prepare the necessary reports timely to relevant functions.
◾ Participate and support actively TFT and similar improvement/productivity opportunities in order to contribute to overall factory objectives.
◾Support QA Program (QDP, FSP, IPM, IDIM, RIM,QA equipment) activities and QA system requirements within the shifts and provide  the necessary communication effectively to relevant functions.
◾Perform and report QA Program (QDP, FSP, IPM, IDIM, RIM) activities and QA system requirements and provide the necessary communication effectively to relevant functions.
◾Ensure that EHS&S is integrated into all activities and adherence to EHS Policy & Procedures as well as ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 compliance is strictly maintained. Participate and support all EHS&S relevant initiatives within the Operations.

 

Requirements

◾Bachelor’s degree or above
◾Majoring in Industrial Engineering preferred
◾Experience in Quality Assurance in preferred
◾Good command of written and spoken English
