Primary Analyst

 

Opportunities

· Production Schedule

Participate in weekly production schedule and determine daily Primary and kitchen production schedule – blend, batch sequence and quantity, kitchen and test - in collaboration with Operations planning team, warehouse and Secondary teams and ensure unexpected changes are minimized in consideration of machine capacity, manpower, materials, maintenances and new blends. Mine through operational data sets using analytical and statistical methodologies to identify development areas in any existing practices, methods, process, equipment layouts, and other specifications.

 

· Inventory Control

Monitor and control an inventory level of materials (Leaf and NTMs), add-backs, flavors and cut-filler in Primary at optimal level to ensure the required products and materials are timely delivered in conformance to PM standards and procedures. Participate in regular inventory activities and ensure deviation has been analyzed and corrective actions have been taken.

 

· Movement and Traceability Coordination

Coordinate movements and traceability of materials (Leaf and NTMs), wastes, add-backs, flavors and cut-filler with warehouse and Secondary to deliver all required materials and products on time not to disrupt to continuous production on Best Used Before Date (BUBD) basis.

 

· Operations Planning Support

Provide necessary support and data for MA, LRP, capacity plan, manufacturing assumptions and strategies under Primary manager’s validation according to Operation planning team’s needs to develop short and long-term production plan and keep targeted inventories level.

 

· Reporting Coordination

Coordinate to consolidate KPI data within Primary team and issue KPI and other necessary reports to Operation planning teams under Primary manager’s validation on time.

 

· SAP Management

Ensure that transfer and delivery data are recorded and maintained on SAP system.

 

· Continuous Improvement

Participate in and lead continuous improvement activities for lean inventory management and internal logistics flow in conformance with PM standards.

 

· EHS&S

Take regular trainings on environment, health, safety and security (EHS&S) and strictly adhere to EHS&S principles and practices. Also, ensure that all processing machinery and work practices meet legal safety requirements and PM standards in order to achieve EHS&S objectives

 

Major Challenges

· Cope with unexpected production requests in timely manner with minimum production interruption

· Ensure no inventory errors and production schedule mistakes not to interrupt production

· Maintain effective and uniform communication within Primary and between planning and Secondary.

· Develop effective logistics flows and utilize effectively temporary storages area in line with PMI “3L” concept

 

Requirements

· Minimum 1 year production planning or material coordination experience at mass production environment is required.

· Statistic skill

· Production planning and inventory knowledge

· Logistics flow knowledge and logistic lean technique

· Able to speak and write fluent English and Korean.

· Confident user of Microsoft Office Package.
