Consumer Marketing Trainee
* Trainee will be matched to one designated trainer via 1:1 mentoring program.
* Designated trainer will train program execution, monitor the progress, evaluate, and submitthe daily training record /evaluation result to HR
Training Purpose & Objectives:
Trainee will be provided extraordinary professional development opportunities in consumer marketing via below training program and other on-the-job marketing experience
Training Program:
Detailed contents & timeline are as below.
· Consumer understanding & insight: Basic understanding of consumer healthcare industry: competitive landscape, consumers’ & customers’ needs, Participating in primary research studies such as focus groups and customer interviews, Supporting research projects which includes reviewing questionnaires and reports and understanding research methodology,
· 360 Campaign development & execution: Writing a draft brief, Expressing his/her opinion during brief meeting with agency, Participating in shooting/editing creatives, Proof-reading Website pages, Press Release articles, and various types of marketing collateral, Supporting CRM campaign development and data integration, Monitoring Digital and Social media, Tracking the campaign result, and Sharing the learnings through supporting report writing
· Marketing strategy development/Planning: Understanding of sales forecast based on the sell-in/sell-out trend , Sales data analysis, and yearly brand planning process.
· Communication & presentation skills: Development of business English writing skill and e-mailing, Arranging meetings through Microsoft Outlook, Coordinating internal discussions, Writing meeting minutes, Participation in all key meetings, etc.
· Resource management: Understanding of marketing budget spending process through purchase requesting and A&P spending tracking
· New Product development: Supporting product launch sheet writing through desk research and field visit, preparation of new product pitching materials to customers, understanding of pricing simulation/sales forecast, developing packaging, etc.
· Project management: writing project proposal, planning key milestones, project execution with tracking timeline, post-analysis, etc.
Organization context
Direct report to: Sr. Brand Manager or other equivalent designated trainer
Functional report to: Brand Managers, CRM Manager, Sr.NPD Manager, Marketing Manager

University students only
[Desired Skills & Experience]
Highly motivated self-starter and multi-tasker
Interest in fast moving consumer products and healthcare
Solid interpersonal skills, research skills, analytical skills, and logical approach to problem solving
Attention to detail
Exceptional written and verbal communications skills both in Korean and English
Social media fluency: understands how to use and leverage Facebook, Instagram, blogs
Tenure of Internship: 6 months (2016 June~)
