Right now we are searching for a Commercial Model and Strategy Training Specialist.
Location: virtual (EU, Asia, North America).

Role description
 
Lead Development of Global Training Strategies, Content & Implementation Plans to support integration of multiple promotional channels into evolving Go to Market Models across Business Units.

Non standard work schedule:
approx. 10% international travel

Organizational relationships:
SPCO Strategy Teams (Digital Innovation, eMCM), Global Commercial Teams, Regional Channel Leads (eMCM, Retail, KAM), Marketing Excellence Team, Regional GCO & Training Teams, HR, External Experts & Vendors.

 

Responsibilities

• Engage with Global and Regional BU Strategy teams to build and maintain deep understanding of evolving Go to Market Models & promotional channels across BUs and Geographies – current examples include Digital (Remote Detailing, RTE, Webinars, HCP Portals…) and non-Digital (FF, KAM, Retail) promotional channels; partner with HR to monitor associated changes in customer-facing role profiles, identify emerging customer-facing capabilities of evolving sales organizations and translate into Global/Regional training needs; assess implications of different Market Archetypes/Dynamics for Regional variations of training requirements and incorporate into curriculum design and recommendations for roll-out
• Lead Design and Development of Global modular curricula and training plans to support successful integration of multiple promotional channels into new/evolving Go to Market Models; create learning paths that enable customer-facing roles to leverage available promotional channels in line with local business strategy; provide fit for purpose change management tools for 1st Line managers in rapidly evolving sales organizations to support transition to new commercial models; apply innovative training methodology to create engaging and impactful learning experiences for target audiences
• Partner with relevant SPCO/GCO strategy teams (e.g. eMCM, Digital Innovation) to keep track of global Digital strategy and implementation plans to anticipate future training needs; partner with other GCO functions to drive alignment and innovation, e.g. Marketing Excellence team (align training strategy across customer facing and non-customer facing commercial roles)
• Establish a strong working relationship as a trusted advisor with Senior BU leaders;  provide SME expertise & consultation to determine most efficient and impactful roll-out scenarios & mid- to long-term roadmaps to support successful transition to new commercial models
• Partner with Regional Training to curate & customize Global Curricula for Regional use; upskill Regional training teams to execute training plans with excellence and high business impact; provide continuous support to sustain & embed skills
• Leverage competitive intelligence and seek input from external experts on industry trends, benchmarks and best practices to anticipate future development of customer-facing roles; establish Global Communities of Practice/expert panels of early adopters to gain insights into Regional Best Practices and challenges with implementation of evolving Go to Market Models; source external expert content to complement internal expertise where needed
• Measure quality and usage of Global curricula & Impact of training interventions on performance; leverage business performance & training metrics for continuous improvement of Global training strategies and content

 

Qualifications

• extensive Training Design and Delivery experience in the pharmaceutical industry
• extensive experience in commercial/multi-channel role
• A Bachelor’s degree Masters degree (or higher) preferred
• Deep Expertise in instructional design and the appropriate use of formal and informal learning channels in adult learning
• Experience in evaluating training programs and materials to ensure end-user needs are met
• State-of the art knowledge of learning technology
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously; has the ability to plan, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities.
• Strong understanding of challenges/opportunities and trends in the Healthcare Market
• Global/Regional understanding of the business and market dynamics
• Robust Knowledge of different channels of customer engagement (FF, KAM, Retail, Digital)
• Extensive experience of working on cross-functional teams in a highly collaborative environment
