Job purpose and key deliverables
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
•Drive an integrated way of working across the organization – linking SPI-Brand-Trade-NPI/SC to connect the dots and ensure high quality of content / input are escalated to relevant forums to drive key decisions in a timely manner.
•Drive smooth execution of the S&OP / EMF II process, specifically on Cycle Planning and Activity Update Meetings, with full ownership of the annual EMF II calendar.
•Facilitate the Annual Planning Process, co-ordinating the preparation and execution of the Market Context Development, Marketing Strategy Objectives and Operational Planning Meetings.
•Facilitate the consolidation of the Annual Integrated Cycle Plan based on operational inputs from Brand & Trade Marketing and ensure optimum allocation of marketing resources to ensure effective execution.
•Co-ordinate the communication of cycle planning to relevant teams (brand, trade, NPI/Supply Chain) to ensure proper execution of cycle activities.
•Drive the Cycle Planning Meeting – support and facilitate discussions on brand and trade plans, pressure test key project deliverables (objectives, KPIs, activity details, schedule, resources) to drive quality output.
•Manage the governance on cycle planning and cycle evaluation processes through the EMF II process, and drive planning discipline on key marketing agendas / project workstreams.
•Drive implementation of all key controls (including cycle requests and risk registers) for Marketing and EMF II processes, and manage monthly / quarterly reporting to the region.
•Drive engagement with key stakeholders through behaviours to support, encourage and drive efficiencies and a positive working culture.
•Build and manage relationships within the department and act as the connecting factor with Brand, TM&D and Supply Chain to ensure all relevant stakeholders are properly briefed on all cycle-related deliverables.
•Identify improvement opportunities in current processes to enhance the effectiveness of cycle planning and communication processes within the organization.
Essential requirements
Experience
•5 years of work experience
•Business planning acumen and ability to translate business information requirements to the source data requirements
•A strong analytical focus to leverage information to support the decision-making process within the business
•Strong leadership capabilities
•High integrity and honesty
•Good communicator
•Competent in both spoken and written English
Desirable requirements Advantageous•Project Management skills
•Consumer marketing experience
•Understanding of financial key performance indicators (profit, contribution, value of sales, cash flow)
•Understanding of the Supply Chain process and its impact on the business
