Description

BASF has been a committed partner to Korea since 1954, and is today one of Korea's top ten chemical companies. BASF Company Ltd. provides a broad portfolio in Korea from four business units – Chemicals, Specialties, Polyurethanes and Thermoplastics – and has six world-scale production sites in Yeosu, Ulsan, Gunsan and Ansan. BASF also has an application technology center in Daejeon, a coatings technical center in Ansan, a technical service center in Shiheung and the Asia Pacific headquarters of BASF’s Electronic Materials business is located in Seoul.

 

•Main Tasks:
1.  Production planning

-   Production scheduling through effectively communicate with RBU and sales team to meet customer’s requirement

2.  OMP & Raw material planning

-   Conduct new product registration & SAP system management

-   Purchase requisition management and prepare monthly S&OP document & join the RBU meeting

3.  Monitoring production process

-  Management of the rework & aged RM & OMP material by every month

-  Monitoring inventory level of raw material and finished goods

-  Maintain the latest version of SOP

-  Prepare monthly performance report

4. Safety and Environment management

-  Lead and monitor the implementation of the relevant safe and environment protection

-  Manage MSDS of RMs and inspect the implementation of ISO 14001 and TS16949 Systems

-  Notification of new chemicals and send request form to ASK/RC before import

-  Registration request of new article number, CBI, HS Code. Etc.

5.  Improvement work

-  Identify, recommend and implement changes to improve plant activities

-  Direct the establishment, implementation and maintenance of production standard

6. Support for project works

7. Train production employees

 

•Education/Qualifications required:
    - Bachelor degree of chemical related major   

    - New graduate

    - Fluent in written / spoken English
