Description
Position Objective
FX/Rates trader supports franchise business and delivers superior financial results through proactive management of risk and client flows. Primary roles of FX/Rates trader include assessing varying financial market trends, analyzing current market conditions, and making sound decisions based on the backdrops in stressful situations.

Moreover, FX/Rates trader should maintain distinctive communication skills that enable high level of relationship with institutional clients.

Lastly, a trader should be ethical and productive.


Key Responsibilities
Identify and leverage opportunities by developing innovative trading ideas

•Perform market research.

•Analyse macro-economic backdrops.

•Communicate with internal partners for notable trends in various financial markets.

•Focus on regulatory environment and possible changes.

•Generate innovative ideas and trade on them.

•Act as owner of trading book and bank’s capital.


Build internal and external relationships

•Stay in constant contacts with corporates/financial institutions, providing guidance on markets and risks.

•Maintain dependable trust with internal stakeholders.

•Cultivate respects with regulatory bodies and cooperate with them for market development.

•Liaise with Technology, FinCon, and Ops to achieve optimized processes.


Learn and adapt

•Have integrity and demand it from others.

•Be extremely open and radically transparent.

•Not get orders but get in synch about what is true and what is the best.

•Not let ego stand in the way of learning.

•Communicate logics and welcome feedback.


Qualifications
Knowledge/Experience

•Experience in trading position is preferred but not required.

•Degrees in economics/business administration is preferred but not required.


Skills

•Quantitative analytical skills

•Working knowledge in VB.

•Sales and interpersonal skills.


Qualifications

•BS/BA/MA degree.

•Fluent verbal/written communication in English and Korean.

•High threshold level of understanding of people, processes, and problems.

•Ability to manage people, client and user expectations

•Builds partnerships and values diversity
