ABC News Seoul Bureau is looking for passionate, hard-working and bilingual interns who would appreciate the experience of working in global media. The job will be mainly focused on news briefing, researching and assisting in field reporting.
In principle, the internship is NON-PAID. However there may be occasional paid part-time interpretation opportunities from other affiliated companies with ABC News. There will be unique opportunities to work in the field with world renowned global correspondents when news breaks. Long term interns may have opportunity to work with the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics coverage team.

 

Job Requirements:

- Must be interested in journalism, media or communications

- Must be bilingual (English and Korean)

–must be able to translate interviews on the spot

- Must have experience in video editing and shooting

- Must be flexible, motivated and able to work under pressure

- Must be a team player

Duration:

- September 2017 ~ December 2017

Working conditions:

- Monday to Friday, 11AM ~ 6PM

- Must be able to be on call for urgent news 24/7
(In general, hours are flexible when news is slow, but interns must be able to fully commit when news breaks.)
