Energy Markets Analyst

Key responsibilities

• Manage and own demand response portfolios; Economic DR
 (Economic DR : day-ahead market operated by KPX, and EnerNOC can participate through bids based on customers’ expected operation)
• Manage the process improvements to eliminate errors across team workflows. This requires collaborative works with internal stakeholder and external customers.
• Develop and execute market strategy that drive up Economic DR participation and clearing rates while being compliance with all program market rules
• Manage portfolio risks while maximizing financial outcomes.
• Nominate and register Economics DR bids
• Reconcile performance and settlement data for financial reports
• Coordinate with both internal and external stakeholder to facilitate successful program execution
• Consult with Regulatory Affairs team on relevant regulatory issues that impact future participation in programs
• Conducting specific analysis and administrative duties as required.

 

Required Qualifications/Skills/Education
• BA/BS degree in a technical field such as Engineering, Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or equivalent experience
• Native Korean with practical business communication skill in English for both written and verbal
• 2-3 years of working experience with Korean companies or multi-national companies
• Experience with customer facing duties and strong customer relations skills
• Successfully leaded project teams with multidiscipline stakeholders
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and numerical analysis skillset
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow through on assigned tasks
• Highly organized and can multi-task
• Ability to perform advanced quantitative analysis
• Experience and passion for entrepreneurial corporate culture and flexible mindset
 
Desired Qualifications/Skills/Education
• Experience working with Korean conglomerate or high pressure environment for 3+ years
• Knowledge of statistics, programming (R, VBA), or other analytical discipline
• Experience managing workflows through SalesForce.com
