Product Stewardship & Regulatory Analyst

Job Description

 

The Product Stewardship & Regulatory Analyst is a key member of Korea PS&R organization, and is responsible for supporting business units and/or corporation in product stewardship and regulatory activity. This includes monitoring and analysis of regulatory changes and impacts, support of processes to ensure adherence to established regulatory guidelines and development of improved processes and documentation to strengthen Korea PS&R management system.

 

l  Support FSOP compliance process including ensuring that necessary PS&R checks are properly completed and recorded

l  Support registration and permit application

l  Support applications and annual reporting required by Chemical Control Act (CCA) or Korea REACH regulation

l  Support of MSDS and labeling review and approval process.

l  Support Korea REACH advocacy and other compliance initiatives including data preparation, analysis and submission.

l  Ability to understand the regulatory language and interpret the practical implications of regulations. Monitor and understand Korea chemical regulations.

l  Knowledge of how the business operates in the context of the proposed regulation, including basic understanding of such functions as manufacturing, supply chain, distribution, customer usage, etc.

l  Work closely with SHE, S&L and BU leader to support PS&R improvement and compliance projects and to analyze impacts to DuPont business.

l  Provide PS&R support and consultation for all BU and operation sites, products and applications, providing guidance on what is required for products to comply with product PS&R regulations in Korea.  

l  Participate in relevant external stakeholder forums and Government meetings.

l  Network and collaborate with regional and global PS&R personnel to improve PS&R systems, tools and performance. 

 

 

Job Qualifications

 

l  BS or MS degree in a technical field, chemistry or other equivalent background and above

l  3 years working experience in chemical operation and management. Experience relevant to PS&R role is preferred.

l  Excellent interpersonal, networking, program management, collaborative problem solving, communication, listening, influence and interactive meeting skills are required

l  Excellent conceptual capacity and ability to acquire and understand the implications of new information are required

l  Strong work ethic and attention to detail are required

l  Positive “can-do” attitude and excellent data analysis skills

l  Work with sense of urgency and follow- up work to meet commitments

l  Great communication and presentation skills and fluent English and Korean (written and spoken)
