HR Business Partner







We are looking for an experienced and energetic HR professional who can understand and successfully work with competing priorities. The incumbent will learn the updated global HR practices and processes, play a crucial role in the business to contribute to the winning team and leadership. Together with the teams in North East Asia(Japan and Korea) and teams in Asia Pacific, you will drive HR strategies by providing professional HR expertise and partnering with internal stakeholders in Korea and Japan.

Key responsibilities

[HR Service Delivery]
• Ensure the execution and delivery of HR operational activities in an effective and efficient manner including recruiting, termination, payroll, compensation and benefit programs, employee requests and HR support center related tasks
• Support global/local projects in HR and business
• Maintain the quality of HR master data and various documentation
• Handle government requested HR practices

[HR Business Partnering]
• Coach managers and employees based on the solid understanding of the business model and portfolio
• Build strong relationships and trust with leaders and colleagues, support them with HR expertise and coaching on people issues.
• Assist leaders to gain a better understanding of employees' needs and career aspirations, and provide relevant tools and programs to attract, develop, engage and retain talents.
• Facilitate HR practices on talent management, leadership development and talent acquisition to close gaps on organization capabilities and sustain a sufficient talent pipeline to achieve business goals and further enhance long-term competitive advantage.
• Ensure the effective and efficient people processes (performance, development and career) in the organization and facilitate discussion and coach managers on performance management.

We are looking for

• Bachelor degree or above.
• Minimum 3 years’ work experience in an HR generalist role preferably in a global organization, ideally with good understanding of Korea labor market and practices.
• Solid understanding of HR fundamentals –recruitment, learning and development, compensation and benefits, employee and industrial relations, as well as local labor laws.
• High energy with strong desire to achieve and proven capabilities of multi-tasking and working under pressure and deadlines.
• Proactive and courageous advocate to be a member of winning team
• Good coaching and facilitation skills.
• Strong abilities to build relationships and manage multiple stakeholders' interests.
• Open- and cross-culturally minded.
• Excellent written and verbal communication of English.
