Basic technical understanding for most aspects (HVAC, electricity, plumbing, building automation, building structure...) of a retail building and its connected equipment.
Understand the financial impact of my actions, and ask support/help if I am unsure about it.
User knowledge of working with MS office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project) and CAFM systems.
Your responsibilities
Using your specialist knowledge, support, advice and mentor your Facility Management team members in the delivery of all agreed FM services in your site, in strict adherence with all applicable local regulations and IKEA Group mandatories.
Deliver, on a day-to-day basis, the agreed site FM services in line with the IKEA retail and property requirements as well as all applicable local regulations and IKEA Group mandatories.
Contribute to FM projects, and run FM projects in your specialist area on behalf of the Site FM Manager.
Use the CAFM (Computer Aided FM) tool to view and update inspection, testing and maintenance (ITM) activities issued for both supplier and internal work.
Record findings, risks or risk incidents related to ITM activities.
Provide assistance to external FM service providers in line with their contract to enable delivery of outsourced FM services.
Report on the service provider performance and service quality to the Site FM Manager.
Support the tendering process for new or potential FM service providers by assisting during site visits.
Create an environment of trust by encouraging open, constructive and honest two-way feedback with team members and colleagues.
Take responsibility for your own development in line with business needs as well as personal development needs.
Promote IKEA’s social and environmental commitment (Sustainability).
Work with team members to understand how to contribute to sustainability together.
Support the Site FM Manager in creating the annual FM budget based on the FM 5-year rolling plan, annual FM plan, business needs and results of the annual Facility Review.
