Your Mission
As a part of the “Center of Expertise” Employee Relations team, you will serve as a key driver in facilitating the transformation of our ER work through your handling of critical employee relations issues that are crisis-oriented and time sensitive and elevating the care and attention that we provide our employees. You will work in close partnership with HR and Legal teams by providing operation and support for ER processes across the organization while minimizing risk and ensuring a positive ethical workplace.
Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
Partner with Activision Blizzard’s Ethics & Compliance and Legal teams to resolve conflicts and effectively execute solutions on compliance and employee relations topics while providing advice on local policies and process.
Implement an employee relations plan of Activision Blizzard and ensures that all areas in offices with the labor relations principles and uphold local policies, procedures and local laws.
Develop and facilitate employee mandatory trainings and ER trainings for employees to minimize risk and build employee relations skill set.
Organize and follow up local LMC and employee representative process.
Check policies and internal and external labor issues in advance that could have high organizational impact.
Support HR Business Partners to prevent employee relations risks and liaise with employee engagement programs.
Conduct investigations on sensitive workplace issues and employee relations matters including disciplinary action committee.
Recommend policy changes and enhancements based on investigation outcomes and trends.
Manage and implement employee award programs to secure employee engagement.
Provide proactive support during organizational changes to promote a positive environment and facilitate seamless transitions.
Manage ER subject matter contracts and service term operations.
Player Profile
Minimum requirements
Bachelor or above degree required.
3+ combined years of directly applicable Employee Relations and HR experience, including prior experience handling snsitive Employee Relations issues, grievances, and providing strategic, resolution-based advice and guidance as well as HR Generalist tasks.
Broad knowledge of APAC region (including but not limited to Korea, Japan and Australia) employment laws and regulations and the ability to appropriately spot employment risks and issues.
Experience working with Works Councils.
Ability to speak and write in English and Korean fluently (Japanese would be plus).
Exercises sound judgment, while balancing acting with a sense of urgency, ability to handle multiple tasks and need for attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities as well as planning, organization, and time management skills
