Q&FS (Quality & Food Safety) Specialist
Job Description
•Provide day to day professional product support throughout entire value chain including customers, sales, innovation, product manager, PS&RA, sourcing, operation (planning, production, QA, QC, Supply Chain) and customer service, so as to ensure the regulatory food safety standard (including product labelling and SDS) and quality compliance.
•Establish and continuously improve the effectiveness of the working processes related to product support to various parties.
•Manage contract manufacture (CM) Q&FS performance
•Manage Co-ordinate site Product Recall Team, including Mock recall with traceability analysis.
•Provide the Product service (eg. SAP, label, questionnaire, complaint handling etc) with the typical Q&FS work.
•Manage Raw Material and Formulation for several local contract manufactured products.
•QC SAP operation, QC release
•Doubted and Non-conformance product handling (early release, shelf life extension, rework, downgrade, scrap etc)
•Establish internal test plan
•Play part of Manufacture lead role to CM in below areas ;
•Review overall food safety quality performance to identify gaps and address key issues.
•Ensure CM are following up all nonconformance (complaint, internal incident, audit findings) and verify the completion and effectiveness of the CAPA.
•Audit (by own team or resort to AP resource)
Job Qualifications
•Bachelor degree or above in food science or other relevant fields
•Communicate with impact. Highly developed written and verbal communication in English language.
•Can-do attitude and Learning capability
•Food ingredient regulatory and product knowledge
•Strong problem solving capability
•Substantial experience in effective design and documentation of processes
•Leadership skills
•Demonstrated accuracy, attention to detail, and analytical skills
•Speed, agility & customer focus
•Computer literacy – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP, SharePoint, Outlook, etc.
•QA experience including quality and food safety auditing competency
•Multicultural business experiences
•Understanding of financial reporting
•Effective time management & prioritization with multiple tasks, & proven ability to meet deadlines
•High degree of autonomy, self-drive and positive energy with a strong sense for communication.
•Ability to adapt quickly and constructively to change
