Automotive Linux/Android BSP APPS Engineer

Job Overview  
As part of the customer engineering team of Qualcomm Korea, mainly focus on automotive infotainment platform, we are looking for talents who will be responsible for supporting customers to commercialize their products with Qualcomm Android and Linux BSPs of Snapdragon APQ/MSM series. The work scope includes but not limit to customer Q&A support, troubleshooting of BSP towards Android, framework, HAL and Linux kernel drivers, supporting AGL/Genivi issues, custom feature support including customer requirement analysis, feature design & implementation, etc. 

 

Minimum Qualifications  
Proficient in coding with C/C++, and experience in assembly.
- Good knowledge of computer architecture, Android and Linux OS, data structures and basic algorithms.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting ability.
- Experiences in software (device driver and application) design and implementation.
- Linux device driver development and debugging: ARM(Cortex M/R/A series), Snapdragon (e.g. 820 Kryo) or other embedded SoC BSP development and debugging with sufficient tools(e.g. gdb and jtag).
- Active/skillful documentation written.
- Understanding an Open Source mind-set.
- Experience using software management systems (e.g. git, p4 or gerrit) at least.
- Familiar with Linux application, kernel framework and drivers, and Linux build system.
- Familiar with Android framework, middleware, HAL. (Good to have)
- Familiar with AGL/Genivi and related components. (Good to have)
 
Preferred Qualifications  
* Prior experience on infotainment system in Automotive and technical support for customers is desirable. * Familiarity with ARM architecture, ARM assembly, emulators/JTAG-debuggers, test-mobiles test equipment such as Oscilloscope/Logic Analyzers, test-mobiles & logging tools. * Ability to work as part of a dedicated project team and independently.  
     
Education Requirements  
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Electrical Engineering required.
