PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The SAP HANA team develops a platform which is the basis for new, ground-breaking SAP applications and is widely agreed to be a highly valuable asset in the SAP software portfolio. In-memory computing is made possible through recent technology advances in main memory, multi-core processing, and data management. It leverages technology innovation to establish real-time analysis of business data and combines both transactions and analytics to improve existing business processes with a dramatic increase in performance. The SAP HANA platform also provides libraries for predictive, planning, text processing, spatial, and business analytics – all on the same architecture.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

Your tasks includes:
•Solve complex Hana database problems of customers and SAP internal stakeholders
•Communicate issues with global front-office support or global customer
•Work hand-in-hand with development to improve quality.
•Improve supportability features and the documentation 
 
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Required skills
•Strong analytical skills: familiar with debugging and analyzing complex problems
•Good knowledge of database architecture, and SQL
•Knowledge of LINUX
•Good communication skills: verbal and written working proficiency in English and Korean
•Ability to work well in global teams across different time-zones
•Eagerness to improve quality of complex software written in C++
 

Optional skills
•Knowledge of Python/shell-Scripting, C/C++
•Using C++-Debuggers (like GDB) or profiling tools
•Knowledge of SAP Applications (e.g. BW, S/4 HANA)
