Reporting to the APAC Chief Marketing Officer functionally and the Country Head locally, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of the marketing strategy for all associated businesses in Korea, that will cover brand building, product marketing, marketing communications across offline and digital channels, and media relations.  The role will also play a critical role in ensuring alignment with the global and regional marketing strategy of the firm.
 
This position will be part of the Regional Marketing Management Team.
 
Major Responsibilities
  • Marketing strategy development and implementation against Korea business priorities
  • Planning and execution of marketing campaigns and thought leadership programs
  • Marketing collateral creation for product sales support 
  • Collaboration with other marketing functional groups within the organization to deliver the marketing efforts
  • Implementation of digital promotions and content management of corporate website and mobile app
  • Event planning and management 
  • Conduct and analysis of marketing research 
  • Media relations – inquiry handling, article pitching/placement, press release, media event management, etc.
  • Marketing budget planning and control
Qualifications
  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related degree is preferred
  • At least 8 years’ experience in all-rounded marketing
  • Strong marketing skills across strategies and channels
  • Good understanding of the investment or the mutual funds industry across markets
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Korean 
  • Ability to think strategically while strong in execution and dealing with details
  • Ability to interact, influence and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and across Lines of Businesses
  • High level of independence, energy and integrity; Responsible and accountable; Respect for diversity of opinions and styles; Flexible in approach
  • Strong sense of governance to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements
  • Ability to multi-task, work in a demanding, fast paced environment, and handle multiple, competing priorities and projects with quality output at one time
  • Ability to adapt quickly and shift priorities based on unexpected business demands
  • Non-industry profiles will be considered for sounded marketing knowledge and experience from leading brands and/or marketing organisations
