Amazon Data Center Operations team deploys and maintains the servers and infrastructure in our data centers. Amazon uses large-scale, high-density data centers and we support our customers 24x7 all year.

 

We are looking for candidates to commit to 6-week (fulltime) contracts and we are committed to provide coaching and periodic assessments to help develop your skills. If successful after the 6-week period you have an opportunity to be interviewed to join the Amazon family full time.

데이터센터 트레이니 프로그램은 6주 계약직으로 운영되며, 근무 기간 동안 랙 해체 및 저장매체 처리 관련 교육, 실습 및 멘토링을 통해 기술과 직무를 폭 넓게 경험 할 수 있는 기회를 제공합니다. 프로그램을 마치는 시점에 평가를 통해 Rack Decom Technician으로 정규직 채용 되는 기회를 제공 받을 수 있습니다. 우수한 의사 소통 능력과 새로운 기술에 대한 호기심이 있는 후보자 분들의 적극적 지원을 기다리고 있겠습니다!

 

Key job responsibilities

You will be exposed to the world’s largest cloud computing infrastructure. The role involves some periods working remotely and independently from your team and requires the ability to drive change while maintaining excellent communication. The Decommissioning Technician is responsible for processing and facilitating large scale legacy Data Center equipment through a liquidation process to ensure that targeted equipment is ready to be removed off premises. Team members will also process large volumes of customer data to ensure that all customer data is sanitized and properly managed.

 

Core Responsibilities
· Decommissioning and processing of legacy hardware out of the data center facilities
· Relocating and moving of large enterprise equipment
· Hard drive installation, removal and destruction
· Creating/attaching labels and barcodes
· Basic Networking removal/installation and clearing of configurations
· Updating progress through a web ticketing system
· Documenting procedures
· Escalating to senior technicians and management as needed/required
· HDD/SSD/Flash/Removable storage media

 

이는 레거시 장비를 신속하게 해체/폐기 처리하여 고객을 위한 새로운 장비가 설치 될 수 있도록 도울 뿐만 아니라 폐기되는 장비에 존재하는 고객데이터를 안전하게 보호하는 일을 포함합니다.

 

· 데이터센터 시설에서 레거시 하드웨어 해체 및 처리
· 대규모 기업 장비의 이동 및 이전 설치
· 하드 드라이브 설치,제거 및 파괴
· 라벨 및 바코드의 생성 및 부착
· 기본적인 네트워크 장비의 설치/제거 및 설정 초기화
· 웹 시스템을 통한 진행 상황 업데이트
· 관련 절차 문서화 진행
· 상급 기술자 및 팀리더에게 진행사항 보고
· HDD/SSD/Flash 및 이동식 저장매체 처리

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Domestic/foreign Associate degree OR Bachelor degree (Applicants are expected to be graduates, to graduate in Feb, 2022 or those having less than 1 years of IT-related experience)

· Basic knowledge of computer hardware systems.

· Able to follow a well-defined technical standard operational procedure (SOP)

· Written & verbal communication skills

 

· 국, 내외 전문학사학위 또는 학사학위 소지자 (2022년 2월 졸업 예정자 및 기졸업자 신입 혹은 1년 이하 IT관련 경력자의 경우 지원 가능)
· 컴퓨터 하드웨어에 대한 기본 지식
· 정의된 기술 표준 운영 절차(SOP)를 따를 수 있는 능력
· 원활한 서면 및 구두 의사소통 능력

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Previous experience working on IT equipment (cable management, building computers, troubleshooting PC/Desktops/Laptops).

· Understanding of IT service management
· Understanding of Data Center environment safety and security.
· IT certifications

 

· IT 장비를 다루는 환경의 근무경험(케이블 관리, 컴퓨터 조립, PC/데스크탑/노트북 장애처리)
· IT 서비스 관리에 대한 이해
· 데이터센터 환경 안전 및 보안에 대한 이해
· IT 관련 자격증
