외국계 반도체 기업 보잉 코리아에서 Materials Research Engineer를 모집 합니다.

Job Description

Intel strives to make every facet of semiconductor manufacturing state-of-the-art -- from semiconductor process development and manufacturing, through yield improvement to packaging, final test and optimization, with world class supply chain and facilities support. Employees in the Technology Development group are part of a worldwide network of design, research, development, manufacturing, and assembly/test facilities, all focused on utilizing the power of Moore's Law to bring smart, connected devices to every person on Earth. Within our Technology Development group, the Components Research (CR) group's mission is to invent and demonstrate revolutionary process and packaging technologies that enable Intel's product leadership.

The Intel Components Research group is seeking a Materials Research Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Demonstrate a safety-first attitude in all types and phases of work
  • Be responsible for the development of materials to meet program needs - often on short timelines with limited resources:
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) and Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) thin film growth mechanisms and processes for oxides, nitrides and metals.
  • Be proficient with standard semiconductor measurement techniques (AFM, ellipsometry, SEM, SIMS, XPS, XRD, XRR etc.) needed to quantify material properties and discriminate between varying process inputs.
  • Be an expert in experimental design and interpretation.
  • Ability to make well-reasoned decisions with limited data.
  • Engage the Korean semiconductor tool and material ecosystems to drive key engagements in support of Components Research programs.
  • Be an active member of Components Research's external engagements team, engaging with Korean and other Asian and Oceanic universities, national labs and vendors to identify and establish new research opportunities.

The candidate will be expected to role model Intel cultural attributes and exhibit the following behavioral traits and/or skills and/or requirements (6+ months of experience with the following (having more than one will be preferred)):

  • Technical innovation and a drive to deliver results for complex, time critical technical projects.
  • Self-starter with dedication to continual learning.
  • Ability to contribute to fast moving teams with a wide variety of skills and personalities.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • This is an entry level position and compensation will be given accordingly.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge and/or experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork and/or classes and/or research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
  • PhD degree in Materials Science or Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field + 6 months experience.
  • Lead- and co-authored research publications in highly regarded, peer reviewed scientific journals and/or Conferences.
  • Strong spoken and written English and Korean language skills.
  • 6+ months of experience with the following (having more than one will be preferred):
  • Developing/maintaining ALD/CVD processes.
  • Developing/maintaining ALD/CVD process hardware.
  • Precursor selection to improve ALD/CVD processes.
  • Application of critical analytical techniques to overcome process challenges.
  • Project development in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Thorough understanding of how to monitor and control ALD/CVD processes (thickness, particles, stress, resistivity, mobility, dielectric constant, conformality, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of standard semiconductor processes (PVD, etch, clean, CMP, etc.) and their interactions with ALD/CVD films.
  • Ability to modify ALD/CVD film properties to improve ease of integration.
  • Familiarity with electrical test metrics and integration schemes.
  • Experienced with automating common tasks within automation systems.
  • Previous experience in running vendor research collaborations.
