[PEH] BD Manager
Role Description
[KEY RESPONSIBILITIES]
1. Achieve Business Results by leading growth strategy and business developments
- Develop and execute portfolio expansion initiatives through championing a targeted business development, product enhancement and cross-pollination
- Facilitate peri-LOE planning in collaboration across BUs
- Develop and execute portfolio development plan and sourcing strategy based on PEH’s portfolio strategy
- Develop and execute strategic partnership model to maximize business potentials
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to fill the gap in response to market evolution
- Execute commercial assessments and develop business case for growth initiatives and strategic partnership with input from relevant cross-functional teams
- Lead implementations of identified initiatives and work closely with relevant functions, BUs and Global/Regional teams to execute on time and on budget
- Align and maintain strong partnership with key stakeholders in relevant functional teams to ensure coherent and consistent support that drives successful implementations and business results
- Champion the business planning of growth initiatives including business case development and strategic/operation planning.
2. Market Intelligence
- Analyzes and interprets market intelligence from a range of sources (including market research) to ensure that knowledge is up to date and appropriate for decision making
3. Cross-divisional/functional Teamwork
- Understands the interdependencies of cross-functional teams and work effectively with key stakeholders to develop and implement growth initiatives to achieve budgets
4. Initiatives
- Leads internal customers and partners to align and to act for portfolio objective achievement
- Support BU initiatives
[SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE]
- Bachelor degree or above
- Preferably at least 3 years of experience at business development or BD relevant functions in the Pharmaceutical Industry or the related Industry
- Strong knowledge in Marketing and Finance required
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Ability and eagerness to challenge status quo; make quick decisions; aggressively identify and seek opportunities to grow revenue; and lead/operate successfully in a matrix team
- Strong change leadership, communications, influencing and negotiations skills
- Strong project management skills, ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong problem solving skills and conflict resolution
