Quality Services Customer Relations Expert






Overview

Provide timely Quality information verbally and/ or in writing to customers, vendors, sales staff, and internal staff regarding product applications, quality and manufacturing processes, product and  service 
complaints, and general product usage/application techniques. Promote the image and support the functionality of  capabilities to our customers. Collaborate with Business Development Manager/ Account Director to become a Quality contact for Strategic Customer Accounts.

 

Inquiry Management

  • Coordinate with Customer and internal departments to resolve Customer's quality roadblocks. 
    Technical information provided will protect company intellectual property and ensure product meets  customers' and our company's specifications. Possess a knowledge of  products and
    industry applications using products. Knowledge includes product application, cGMP guidelines, and Regulatory as it relates to the Process Solutions industry.
  • Information will be provided in a timely fashion verbally and/or in writing to strategic global customers, vendors, sales staff and internal staff regarding product applications, manufacturing processes and general product usage techniques.
  • Crisis management of external and internal events as it pertains to  customers'.   Management of the crisis includes coordinating the process with customer(s), legal, quality operations, technical services, and sales.
     

Customer Intimacy (Partnering with Strategic Customers)

  • Obtain product sourcing, testing specifications or other information from vendors to fulfill customer specific requests (Position requires ensuring CDA in place before supplying the information or working with appropriate teams to determine what can be shared).
  • Review Customer Questionnaires In a timely manner to ensure our company remains a qualified supplier for top tier customers.
  • Transition to a single point of contact for a defined number of strategic high volume accounts addressing quality and technical issues related to all products (all manufacturing and distribution sites) in a timely and professional manner. 
     

Training and Development

  • Demonstrate expertise (can act as mentor or subject matter expert) related to products/applications relating to cGMP, Regulatory, Pharma/BloPharma. This expertise will be used to train/mentor other Quality Services team members as well as other departments as required. Training includes product and process knowledge, systems knowledge, regulatory knowledge, and investigation processes.

 

[Qualifications]

 

Education:

- Master's degree preferred in one of the chemical or biological sciences; or Bachelors' with equivalent experience in a relevant scientific-based or quality assurance position.

Experience:

- Six to eight years scientific-based work or quality or technical based customer communications.

• Chemistry or Life Science knowledge
•  Understanding of  basic Quality Assurance concepts
•  Interpersonal skills
•  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•  Flexible working hours as required to meet global customer deadlines.
• Ability to work and  participate in a team
•  Computer skills
•  Project Management Skills
• cGMP knowledge
•  Regulatory knowledge as related to products and  the Life Science industry

 

Preferred Skills:
• Biochemistry/chemistry knowledge.
• Working knowledge of FDA and/or USDA regulatory requirements
• Experience writing protocols and reports
• Industry GMP experience (Pharma, BioPharma, Device, or Diagnostic)


Additional Needs
• Some travel will be required.
