Manager, Human Resource

 

 




 



                           

Purpose:


Provide HR Leadership and Business Partner service and support to Retail and Retail stores to ensure that the internal customers receive the expected value from HR



Key Responsibilities:


l  Build up and maintain a strong business relationship with retail back office, store managers, district managers to determine people needs and ensure that business needs are supported

l  Partner with HRM, store managers and district managers in the design of new retail programs/ people strategy and initiate continuous improvements

l  Support line manager and District Managers with communication plans for all strategic change and support the implementation of organisation design change initiatives

l  Provide direction and guidance to District Managers and Store Managers on the interpretation and consistent application of adidas policies, programs, initiatives on labor and employment issues/trends and employee relation needs to ensure they are creating and maintaining a positive and consistent employee relations environment

l  Drive development through midyear reviews, annual review, talent and succession discussion and SHINE activities

l  Partners with District Managers, Recruiter and Store Managers on the development and execution of their staffing plan to ensure internal pipeline of management candidates meet the demands of projected growth

l  Identify employee development opportunities and implement education and training on tools, resources and partners as to promote self-sufficiency and leadership capabilities

l  Solves routine problems in HR: takes initiative to modify procedures, policies, systems and processes as appropriate

l  Act as a direct liaison between the system challenges and efficiencies for the retail field and the HRIS to ensure all issues are being addressed and ultimately resolved

l  Provides support to the line manager in response to and/or resolution of any labor and employment claims

l  Track key information pertaining to succession planning, turnover trends, market compensation and employee relations

l  Foster a culture that enable retail store people to live core brief and Connect, Engage and Inspire

l  Authorities, Attorneys

 


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

l  Well-organized, a self-starter with enthusiasm and initiative

l  Customer-oriented, approachable and strong interpersonal skills

l  Strong written and verbal communication skills

l  A good team player with supervisory and management skills

l  Good organization and problem-solving skills

l  Good MS-office skills, SAP experience is a plus

l  Good Labor Law knowledge

 

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum

Qualifications:

l  University degree or equivalent (preferably main subject Personnel Management)

l  Internship or study abroad

l  Minimum of 5 years progressive work experience in the field of HR; Prior experience working with Retail; relevant industry experience highly preferred

l  Travel as needed to support a store base location, in some cases with limited or no notice

l  Project management experience preferable

l  English fluent (written and oral)

l  MS-Office skills, SAP experience is a plus
