Product & Commercial Efficiency Specialist









Mission Statement 


The mission is to develop Package Gases (helium, rare gases, hydrogen, CO and any new) products imported from the Group or produced locally in collaboration with Sales. He/she should be informed of PG sales activities from Sales to update global demand/supply balance of PG products and, if required, visit new customers with Sales.

Primary responsibilities include managing availability, profitability, competitiveness of PG products and commercial efficiency management of all IM products. The position requires good analytical skills, strong English for the communication with the Group, and collaboration with Sales, Supply Chain, and Production.

 

Key Responsibilities : 

[Product availability]

  • Champion sourcing for Helium and SPG from abroad ( incl. support for swap and market purchase in local market)
  • Coordinate production planning with Sales, Supply Chain and Operation
  • Champion investment study and launch plan for new product implementation.
  • Manage product compliance (specifications, quality assurance) with customer needs in collaboration with Operation, HSE and Quality.
  • Update DGRH's MRP (Material Replenishment Planning), and schedule with DGRH next ISO deliveries taking supply & demand.

 

[Product profitability]

  • Contract management; Create/update standard contract and price escalation formula
  • Analyze production/sourcing cost with Supply Chain and Operation.
  • Provide Sales with pricing guideline (economics prep)
  • Drive/update IM efficiency, KPIs and CAPEX in coordination with Supply Chain, Operation.
  • Follow up special deals (incentives) with DGRH for helium.

 

[Product competitiveness]

  • Update global supply vs. demand of IM products and its trend to Sales & DGRH/Airgas.
  • Provide/update product market price and trend vs. AL selling price in collaboration with Sales
  • Benchmark production/sourcing cost of competition and other Air Liquide affiliates

 

[Commercial efficiency management]

  • Define new offers in coherence with the AL strategy and in compliance with specific market needs and constrains
  • Assess existing Sales Force’s offer process and support sales force in the efficient implementation of offers

 

[Other tasks]

  • M&A candidate study/Investigation/report preparation
  • PR preparation on Oracle for molecules & services (helium, SLA, CO2, LIN/LAR, O2, Scott, Rohm & Hass outsourcing items, Daicel CO2 + Ar mixture, etc.)
  • Chemical material Certification checking
  • SPOKE(single point of contact per affiliate) representative
  • Specialty Gas report : update report quarterly • International/global customer order processing e.g. ALAT, GEHC
  • Customer Service Champion: project manager for annual Me2C event & by-annual customer satisfaction survey

 

Requirements 

  •  Education Level: Bachelor    
  •  Years of Working Experience: > 3 years experience
  •  Discipline/Major: Engineering or  Business Administration        
  •  Job experience : Product Management & Supply Chain
  •  Foreign Language(s): English Level Fluent
