Entity and activity description

Air Liquide ​Solutions Korea was incorporated in January 22nd, 2014 to serve specifically the Electronics Industries (Semiconductor, Flat Panel Displays, Photovoltaics and LED) with the ambition to be the industry reference in Safety, Quality, Supply reliability, Agility and Innovations. Since its incorporation, Air Liquide ​Solutions Korea ​provides​ the major Korean Electronics manufacturers with Helium and a large range of rare gases (Xenon, Krypton, Neon), electronics specialty materials, next generation enScribeTM etching materials and advanced materials. Air Liquide designs, manufactures and supplies the materials used in the state-of-the-art technologies that we see all around us: flat screen displays, computers, mobile phones, digital cameras, etc.

 

Missions and Responsibilities

Mission Statement 

Reporting to the General Manager of ALSK, the incumbent is responsible for:

• Managing and growing the sales and profitability of the ALSK Electronics Materials portfolio, for ESM as a representative of ESM APAC in Korea
• Leading the technical product management and business development necessary for new ESM - enScribe

while ensuring full regulatory/quality/safety compliances and supply reliability

Key Responsibilities : 

1. Management and growth of the Electronics Materials portfolio

• Manage ALSK's Materials portfolio for full regulatory/quality compliances, efficiency, supply reliability, and security
• Function as the primary representative for APAC ESM orgarnization (ORION) in Korea 
• Transform new ESM opportunities into viable commercial offers (local or overseas) in coordination with commercial/ORION/ALGEM
• Develop competitive ESM offers for year-end negotiations in coordination with commercial/ORION/ALGEM 
• Address customers’ quality concerns and requests with Commercial and Quality teams 

 

2. Technical Management of the enScribe Product

• Build and strengthen relationships through effective networking with customers, OEM partners, and local universities. 
• Accurately assess and report the progress of any project collaborations, material evaluations, and JDP 

 

3. Owner of the ESM strategy

• Define jointly with Zone ESM Director the ESM strategy for ALSK and in Korea
• Develops and maintain relevant at all times the ESM strategy

 

4. Management of ALSK Electronics Material capacity and capabilities

• Ensure aligment of Cheonan Material site capacity and capabilities with ESM business development plan
• Provide necessary support for new transforming projects

 

5. Market intelligence

• Operate an effective market intelligence tool and working with the sales force, maintain an up to date database and reporting of competition products and competitors in the market place
• Estimate sales opportunity and timing vs. customer technology roadmap and product development status 
• Propose new product developments/influence technology development to R&D and Product division 
• Update the customer application internally within ALSK and WBL

 

Competencies and Profile

Requirements 

•  Education Level: Bachelor and above   
•  Years of Working Experience: more than 3 years
•  Discipline/Major: Chemical Engineering/ Material/ Semiconductor  
•  Foreign Language(s): English Level Fluent
