업무 설명서

The person hired for the position of senior research engineer, Corporate Research Laboratory-Asia will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Lead the development of a fundamental understanding of the mechanical behavior of 3M materials and products.
• Perform mechanical testing and analysis for soft materials, polymers and adhesives.
• Develop novel test methods for polymers and adhesives.
• Provide guidance for development of novel materials that meet mechanical requirements of applications.
• Interface with customers to define problems and develop solutions.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team of application engineers, scientists, and process engineers to enable next-generation products via Multiphysics/Finite Element Analysis modeling and simulation
• Support simulation engagements with customers
• Understand, develop, and guide the establishment of digital twins, new digital workflows, tools, and systems.
• Initiate and contribute to the analysis and development of intellectual property

• 3M 소재와 제품의 기계적 거동에 대한 근본적 이해 개발을 주도
• 연성 소재, 폴리머, 접착제에 대한 기계적 시험 및 분석 수행
• 폴리머 및 접착제를 위한 새로운 시험 방법 개발
• 적용 분야의 기계적 요구사항을 충족하는 신소재 개발을 위한 기술적 가이드 제공
• 고객과 소통하여 문제를 정의하고 솔루션을 개발
•  Application Engineer, Scientist, Process Engineer로 구성된 유관부서와 협업
• Multiphysics/유한요소해석(FEA) 기반 모델링 및 시뮬레이션을 통해 차세대 제품 개발 지원
• 고객 대상 시뮬레이션 프로젝트 지원
• 디지털 트윈의 이해, 개발 및 구축 방향성 수립에 기여
• 새로운 디지털 워크플로우, 도구, 시스템의 이해·개발·구축 방향성 수립에 기여
• 지적 재산(IP) 분석 및 개발 활동을 시작하고 기여

Qualification

• 기계공학, 재료공학, 물리학 또는 화학 분야의 박사 학위 또는 동일 분야 석사 학위 보유자
• 경력 3년 이상인 자
• 연성체 (Deformable body) 역학 관련 경험을 보유한 자
• 연성 물질(Soft matter) 물리, 기계적 거동, 폴리머 합성/구조에 대한 기초적 이해를 보유한 자
• 유관부서와의 협업 능력 보유한 자
• 높은 동기부여를 갖고 주도적으로 업무를 시작하며 창의적 문제 해결 능력 보유한 자
• 업무상 영어 활용이 가능한 자

Preferred

• Python 또는 기타 프로그래밍 언어 사용 경험
• 유한요소해석(FEA) 모델링 및 시뮬레이션 경험
• 글로벌 팀 협업 경험, 고객과의 긴밀한 협력 경험, 그리고 고성과 팀에서 리더로서 또는 팀원으로서 효과적으로 역할 수행한 경험
