The Institut Pasteur Korea (IPK) is looking for highly motivated researcher to join Chemistry Platform Team.
 
* Position: Researcher in Chemistry Platform Team


▷Overall Responsibilities and Outline of Position

Discovery chemistry is focused on hit-to-lead/lead optimization to generate proof-of-concept compounds or preclinical candidate. Evaluation of in vitro/in vivo ADME properties is essential to identify valuable leads or preclinical candidates and it addresses ADME issues during lead optimization. DMPK researcher will perform in vitro ADME assays (metabolic stability assay using liver microsomes (phase I and II), plasma stability, CYP inhibition and PPB) as routine work for current IPK drug discovery program and he/she will perform various in vivo animal studies.
 
 
▷Qualification in degree & Certification and skill
 
Essential
- M.S. degree or Post-doc
- The successful candidate should be able to perform in vitro metabolic stability & plasma
   stability evaluation.
- He/She should be able to analyze drug concentration from plasma or organ samples for
   PK/PD evaluation.
- He/She should have at least 3 years of experience in performing in Life
   Pharmacokinetic/metabolism studies.
- The candidate must be fluent in English.

Desirable
- The successful candidate should have the ability to interact closely with CRO to ensure
   experimental protocols are followed and accurate data management with understanding of
   DMPK and toxicity.
- Experience related to CYP inhibition and in vitro genotoxicity experiment (mini-ames and
   comet, etc.) is recommended.
- Experience about metabolite identification would also be an advantage.
 
 
▷Experience in industry & functional area and competency
 
Essential
- Minimum 3 years of research experience.
- Experience in ADME evaluation.

Desirable
- Understanding not only DMPK but also toxicology.
- Able to do in vitro toxicity evaluation.


▷Conditions of employment

- Working Hours: Mon. to Fri. ㅣ 09:00 ~ 18:00
- Leave: 2 days/month
