Description
 
Position Summary
 
Responsible for keeping track of up-to-date information on cosmetics industry. Assist to coordinate new product development ensuring all products are launched on time and with high quality.
 
 

 

Principle Responsibilities

1. Creates report for Competitive analysis in a monthly basis as well as ad-hoc basis – including new product launches, interesting trend shift, new claim used

2. Assists evaluation of submissions from lab as well as competitive products. Builds constructive summary of the evaluation afterwards.

3. Assists to create new product proposals for the multiple brands within ELC, focused on current and emerging cosmetics as well as broad based future trends with the Korean consumer and market insight.

4. On daily basis, actively communicate with Outside Vendors and ELC internal cross functional teams to make sure product launches and on time and successful

5. Supports brainstorming session to conceptualize for new innovations

6. Establish strong working relationships with Brands’ key stakeholder partners.

 

 

 

Qualifications
 
1. Bachelor’s degree (preferably Master’s degree as well)

2. Good understanding of consumer, competitor, market and technology / industry.

3. Strong communication skills

4. Resourceful and detail oriented

5. Strong management and organizational skills

6. Full proficiency in English

7. Experience in innovation / product development / marketing related background is a plus
