Role Description

1. PURPOSE OF POSITON/ROLE
Position is responsible for the management of local market(or several small markets) meetings & congresses. This includes strategic consulting & planning for meeting and congress activities, compliance management, process innovation and management, cost savings tracking and analysis, and reporting of all meetings to KRPIA (Korean Research-based Pharmaceutical Industry Association), developing policy and standards, customer information management, and preferred vendor service level and quality management at the local level in alignment with global strategies. Also responsible for developing meetings solutions that include other cost effective options and ensuring compliance to support continuously changing business needs and to further maximize meeting and congress value to Pfizer. It is the local subject matter expert on strategic consulting and planning for customer events and engagement including colleague meetings, external attendee engagement, Congress activities engaged by Pfizer with trusted relationship with key stakeholders such as business, legal, compliance, finance, BT, BA&I and other GCO teams globally.

2. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP
Reports to the Customer Events and Engagement Lead. Mainly communicates with Marketing Teams and Sales Management Teams from each BU, Cross-BU Marketing Teams, Procurement Team, Legal/Compliance and other GCO teams. In addition, is responsible for working with the Global Customer Events & Engagement Group COE’s on developing/executing global process and solutions as well as other global GCO work-streams to align with future GCO initiatives.

3. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 Manages local market (or several small markets) meetings function. This includes strategic consulting & planning, colleague meetings (POA, incentive trip, etc.), external attendee engagement (symposium, speaker program, etc.) and congress process, policy, compliance and vendor management appropriate for the local market practices.
 Ensures compliance across meeting & congress activities under the boundaries of local regulations, KRPIA Code of Conduct, global and local Corporate Policies with close collaboration with Businesses, Legal and Compliance teams
 Develops creative solutions to meetings which may include other cost effective options and maximize the efficiency of meetings and congresses
 Works under global guidance to develop global process and then ensure that the solutions are implemented at an efficient process locally
 Develops/execute local market Standard Operating Procedures that ensure compliance, spending, full data tracking and metrics, and quality outcomes based on CP#304, KRPIA Code of Conduct, Pfizer Spending Guidelines.
 Manage & train local Business Sales & Marketing teams and preferred vendors on Pfizer meeting processes, standards, compliance, vendor service level agreements, and Standard Operating Procedures.
 Responsible for stakeholder management including issue management and resolution in local market

• Strong project management and organization skills at local & global level
• Proven ability to manage vendors to ensure colleague meetings, external attendee engagement, congresses are flawlessly executed
• Strong written and verbal communication and influence skills both in Korean and English
• Strong strategic and analytical skills
• Proven ability to manage compliance requirements in Pharma Meeting and Congresses with integrity
• Knowledge/expertise on local pharma market meeting vendors/hotels/venues
• Demonstrates innovative and creative capability for process innovation and cost-saving
• Strong accountability, proactive & change agile mindset, and team working
• Proficient in operating and understanding computer applications and systems

EXPERIENCE
Bachelor Degree in BA/BS preferred
Minimal 3~5 year experience in Pharma Marketing, Meeting & Congress Management preferred
Compliance management experience preferred
