Medical Information Service Specialist

To provide in all activities associated with Medical Information to ensure the safe and effective use of BI products and support product development for external and internal customers

To provide medical information expertise in support of the alliance business partners
Duties & Responsibilities:
-
Ensure the provision of accurate unbiased scientific information to health care professionals and internal customers, by maintaining detailed product knowledge and as such ensuring the safe and effective use of BI products.

Contribute to the effective marketing of BI products by: ensuring timely provision of technical and medical information; supporting the trainings of Sales Representatives through the educational programs or assistance with the provision of materials.

Liaise with global medical information teams/global business partners to identify opportunities for increased efficiency.

Identify and document information on incoming adverse drug events and report within the prescribed timelines to Pharmacovigilance Team
Requirements:
-
B.Sc or more in the pharmacy, nursing and life sciences field(Pharmacist, Master degree preferred).

2-5 years of experience in MIS.

Clinical experience and expertise in the pharmaceutical industry.

Good customer/client relation, organization and problem solving skills, good communication both written and verbal and presentation skills.

Good computer literacy, knowledge of principles of performing literature searches.

Excellent English (written and verbal).

Abilitiy to work in a team environment and independently.
