Job Overview  
This is challenging position that requires the candidate to learn and internalize Qualcomm Camera solution and its concept very quickly. The candidate will support Camera issues ranging especially AWB algorithm development and tuning. It requires ability to understand and explain technical information in a concise manner with strong communication skills between customers and developers. Candidate will be responsible for camera system development(AWB) and camera customer engineering(CE) based on QCT MSM platforms. 2. Responsibilities - Expertise in auto white balance. Prior experience on auto white balance is a big plus - Familiar with camera sensor technologies such as CMOS/CCD. - Expert on color science, image processing and quality tuning theories. - Camera Image Processing : color enhancement, noise reduction, sharpness filter, etc - Color science, Mobile Camera Sensors, and Optics - Familiar with embedded operating system, software and debugging skills. - Familiar with camera solutions on Android or more phone/pad operating systems such as Windows. - Self-starter with motivation and initiative - Flexibility to learn and work on new Multimedia area  

 

Minimum Qualifications  
- Knowledge or experience of WinMobile, Symbian, & Linux
- Strong skill of software integration, optimization, and debugging on embedded RTOS (Real Time Operating Systems)
- Strong C/C++/Perl Script/Java development and debugging skills on embedded systems
- Authoring or debugging tools for Multimedia applications (Matlab, JTAG, etc)
- Lab test equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, Network server, etc)
- Software verification and validation for Approvals testing and inter-operability testing
- Good communication & interpersonal skills for customer-facing role
